Quick answer

Hand it to new joiners during onboarding: the quiz scores duties, contracts, finance and ethics topic by topic and returns an AI note on what to revise first. It checks knowledge recall — it does not certify competence to advise a real client without supervision.

Disclaimer: a training self-check; not affiliated with any licensing board and no substitute for accredited courses.

Topic blocks mirror first-year agent onboarding curricula; scoring per item, weighting per topic.

About this template

The first ninety days on a licence are where bad habits become commissions. This quiz checks the working knowledge a new agent actually uses — agency duties and disclosure, contract essentials, finance vocabulary, fair-housing boundaries and ethics grey zones — as multiple-choice items graded per topic. The AI report ranks the topics and lists the terms to re-read before the first solo listing presentation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why score by topic instead of total?
Because coaching works by shape: 70% overall with 40% ethics is a different student than 70% with 95% ethics — one needs a talk, the other needs a policy.
Can we use our own question bank?
Yes — swap items in, keep the topic blocks and the weights; the grading and report follow your content.
Is this suitable for pre-licensing students too?
It fits the layer after coursework, before fieldwork — trainees who can pass client-facing scenarios are ready for mentors, not before.
Does it track retakes?
Each sitting stores a dated result; trainers see the improvement curve per person and per topic.
Could candidates cheat with shared answers?
Randomised item order and per-sitting variants blunt it; but a trainee sharing answers is the finding worth having.
What makes a fair pass mark?
Pass on the safety-critical topics (disclosure, fair housing, ethics), coach elsewhere — grey-zone totals mislead; topic gates protect clients.
