Enter one line per criterion—name, weight, score—to get the weighted average, a normalization check on your weights, and a contribution table showing which criterion moved the result. Export as CSV.
Weights may be any positive numbers—the result divides by their sum. All computation runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Write one line per criterion: name, weight, score—separated by commas.
Pick the rating scale your scores use (1–5, 1–10 or 0–100).
Hit Calculate, review the contribution table, then download it as CSV.
FormLM carries weighted dimensions through the whole loop—respondents answer, the platform scores each axis, and the branded PDF report explains where the weight landed.
Multiply each criterion's score by its weight, add the products up, then divide by the total of the weights. Enter one line per criterion—name, weight, score—and the calculator shows every step plus the final weighted average.
No. The result divides by the sum of the weights you entered, so 25/25/25/25 and 5/5/5/5 give the same answer. Weights totalling 100 simply make each criterion's contribution readable as a percentage at a glance.
A simple average treats every criterion as equally important; a weighted average lets the criteria that matter more move the final score more. In assessments that distinction is the whole point: leadership weighted 30% should not count the same as a 5% format question.
Never. All computation happens in your browser.
